Take your next step

Wherever you are with God, there’s a next step to take, and you don’t have to take it alone. Here’s where many people begin.

  1. Trust Christ

Where you spend eternity matters to us. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. It can’t be earned. It is a gift from God.

    • Everyone is a sinner. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
    • Sin leads to death, but God offers life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
    • God sent His Son for you. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
    • Confess and believe. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
    • It is a gift of grace. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

If you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, or you want to talk about what that means, please tell us. We would love to pray with you.

  2. Be baptized

Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water as an act of obedience and public testimony. It pictures the believer’s union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism doesn’t save you; it shows the world the salvation that has already happened through faith in Christ.

If you have trusted Christ and haven’t yet been baptized, talk with Pastor Phil about taking this step.

  3. Get connected

Sunday School, at 9:45 every Sunday morning, is one of the best ways to begin knowing others and being known. We study Scripture, ask questions, pray together, and encourage one another in the Christian life.

  4. Talk with a pastor

Questions about following Jesus, baptism, membership, serving, or prayer? We’d be glad to talk. You don’t have to have everything figured out first.
