Join us this Sunday
Sunday School meets before morning worship, and it’s one of the best ways to get connected.
- Morning worship usually lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
- Children are welcome in the service, and there are classes for them during Sunday School.
- Not sure where to go? Look for the main entrance and someone will help you.
Now preaching
Verse by verse through the book of Acts
On Sunday mornings we’re walking through Acts in a series called The Way. On Sunday evenings, Faithful to the Mission continues in Acts 18.

Our pastor
Meet Pastor Phil
Phil Harden became Senior Pastor of Altamahaw Baptist Church in 2026. Originally from Mebane, he has served families in North Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana. He loves helping believers live in obedience to the Word of God, which shows up in his verse-by-verse preaching and in his everyday shepherding of the flock.
“Any shepherd worth his salt smells like sheep!”
What a Sunday looks like
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come. Here’s what you’ll find.

Hymns we sing together
Our music is rooted in congregational singing: familiar hymns and songs of the faith, sung clearly and reverently as one church family.

Sunday School at 9:45
Classes for children, youth, and adults study Scripture, pray together, and get to know one another. Ask when you arrive and we’ll help you find one.
